Virtual technology is gaining ground at all fronts in human endeavor. The use of virtual technology in counselling service and caregiving has improved the human helping professions. This paper focused on the integration of technology into rendering services in counseling and caregiving. Digital counselling services for clients are of great importance in the digital era. This paper delved into clarifying issues relating to virtual technologies, counseling and care giving services, digitalization of counselling and caregiving services, possibilities of utilizing virtual technologies in counselling and caregiving services, benefit of digital counselling and problems of digital counseling service. Recommendations for counsellors, care-givers, institutions and government were also enumerated which can foster improvement in digital counselling and care-giving work in providing cyber-security and protecting confidentiality of the clients.
